alejandro parra is a lighting designer in los angeles. he designs for theatre and live performance: new plays and musicals, most recently at casa 0101 theatre in boyle heights, a house he has kept returning to since 2021. the through line is attention: where the light sends the eye, and what it finds when it lands.
he holds a b.a. in visual arts (media) with a minor in theatre from uc san diego.
