About

Alejandro Parra is an interdisciplinary media artist, lighting designer, and educator working across photography, film, theatre, and technical production. His practice explores how images, light, sound, space, and duration shape attention and influence how people experience the world.

Whether creating his own work, designing for performance, or teaching young artists, he approaches technical systems as tools for expression, collaboration, and critical inquiry. Parra holds a B.A. in Visual Arts (Media) with a minor in Theatre from the University of California, San Diego.
